Information to help your individual fundraising (RFTC 2010)

Dear Race Participant,

Thank you for making the decision to have an impact on finding the cure for breast cancer by registering to participate in the Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County Race for the Cure®. Now that you have registered, it’s time to really make a difference by joining our Friends Asking Friends to fundraise.

As you may know, the state funding from Every Woman Counts that helped ensure mammograms and screening for uninsured women aged 40 and up has been drastically cut and will only serve women 50 and older. Your fundraising can literally save lives!

I hope that you will find the tools and tips linked below helpful. You will join the millions of passionate supporters who have made Komen the largest source of non-profit funds in the fight against breast cancer. Remember, registration gets us to the start line. Fundraising gets us to the cure.
