Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

Fashion Targets Breast CancerFashion Targets Summer Fridays

Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, a program of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), are teaming up for "Fashion Targets Summer Fridays."

To participate simply purchase a limited edition Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) polo shirt, designed by Ralph Lauren, to wear on “Summer Fridays” beginning July 3, 2009 through September 25, 2009.

The FTBC polo makes for a perfect summer Friday outfit, and can take women from work to their favorite weekend getaway spot – all while demonstrating their support for the fight against breast cancer.  The polo shirts come in five vibrant summer colors (yellow, green, red, white and blue) in sizes XS – XL and may be purchased online at NET-A-PORTER.COM for $55 plus $12.50 for ground shipping.

Every limited-edition FTBC polo shirt sold will generate a $33 donation to the Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and a $11 donation to FTBC. Donations help our Affiliate fund local grants for critical education, screening and treatment services.

To purchase a polo shirt please click on this link or copy and paste it into your browser:

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

FTBC will use the $11 generated from the sale of each limited-edition Fashion Targets Breast Cancer polo shirt to make project grants that provide meaningful assistance to all women concerned about and diagnosed with breast cancer. The grants provide access to reliable health information and quality health care, support a distribution network, education and outreach impacting the broadest number of women possible.

FTBC will also grant an additional $10,000 to the Affiliate who raises the highest dollar amount .
