Congratulations to Vicky Figueroa!

The Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, wishes to thank and congratulate Vicky Figueroa as our Volunteer of the Year. 

Vicky began her involvement with Susan G. Komen when she registered for her first Race for the Cure® ten years ago.  She has been an active fundraiser and as a volunteer, has served in leadership roles of numerous committees and initiatives.  She has served on the Race for the Cure® Committee for over six years.  She's been a member of the Speaker's Bureau and Chair of the MBL/Mother's Day activities with the Los Angeles Dodgers for three years.

Vicky is also active on the Public Policy Committee, and as our current Education co-chair, is involved in all outreach and mission based activities, including Pink Sunday, I AM THE CURE and Komen on the Go.  All of us are awed and inspired by Vicky's service and dedication, and hope you will join us in congratulating her on becoming our Volunteer of the Year.
