The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrating breast cancer survivorship and honoring those who have lost their battle with the disease. With funds raised by the Komen Race for the Cure® Series, Komen with its Affiliate Network is able to fund breast cancer research grants, meritorious awards and educational, scientific and community outreach programs around the world. Since its origination in Dallas in 1983, the Komen for the Cure® Series has grown from one local Race with 800 participants to a series of more than 100 Races with more than one million people expected to participate. RACE 2010 Sunday, March 14, 2010 Please check back soon for exciting location news. We are growing and our 14th Race for the Cure® will be better than ever!
