The LA County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen is proud to announce the availability of community grant funds for Fiscal Year 2012. Proposals that specifically address our priority programmatic categories and our priority populations, as determined by our most recent Community Profile, will be given priority. Our 2012 grant cycle runs from April 1st, 2012 through March 31, 2013.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) is built around the Affiliate’s Statement of Need which conveys the guidelines for the types of programs Komen and the Affiliate are willing to fund. The Statement of Need and RFP are both based on findings from the bi-annual Community Profile. The Statement of Need is included as part of the RFP.
The RFP also sets the rules for applying for Komen Affiliate grants, including deliverables under the grant contract, evaluation criteria, grants structure and budget and other qualifying guidelines that must be met before the proposal is sent to review
